Enhanced registration experience coming soon
While the new template has been live since January 2025, we are finalizing critical components such as the registration form, ticketing, and checkout page. These elements are integral to the platform's core functionalities, and extra care is being taken to ensure they are seamless and bug-free before release. This phase is considered the second phase of our new template rollout and is scheduled for release Q3 2025.
Event website compliant with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) - WCAG
As part of the second phase of our new template rollout, idloom is ensuring full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA). This EU law sets the standard for how digital products — like event websites — should be designed to be accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
This means the new idloom event website template will include key improvements such as clearer navigation, keyboard usability, screen reader compatibility, and better color contrast. Our goal is to make sure that all users can access, register, and interact with your event content easily and independently.
By aligning with these accessibility requirements, we’re helping organizers meet legal obligations — while also making events more inclusive, user-friendly, and future-ready.
Clients with custom developments on the legacy event website template
As someone with custom developments built on our legacy template, it’s important to know that this older version will be fully retired by the end of Q4 2025. At that point, any customizations made on the legacy template will no longer be supported and will be lost.
If you’ve had custom developments implemented on your event websites, this transition is also a great opportunity to upgrade and align with the enhanced capabilities of the new template. Not only are we introducing a fresh design, but we’re also moving to a modern technological foundation that unlocks powerful new features and future innovation.
