We would like to bring to your attention that this change will affect any custom developments that have been implemented on your account. As a result, any customizations made to your event website(s) will need to be re-implemented on the new technology. This will enable us to provide you with more advanced features and functionalities that were not possible on the old template.
We understand that this may cause some inconvenience, especially for those who have invested time and money in custom developments. Even though we assure you that we will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible, we would like to be completely transparent and inform you that if you wish to retain the customizations you have on the current template, you will need to pay for the redevelopment work. This is because we cannot cover all the expenses related to redeveloping everything from scratch.
To help you prepare for the transition, we recommend that you review your current customizations and make note of any that you wish to retain. Your account manager can work with you to determine the scope of the redevelopment work and provide a sense of the cost involved. In addition, we will be providing user guides to help you get up to speed on the new template and take full advantage of the new features and functionalities.
Additionally, we want to emphasize that during the ongoing development of the new template, we currently have very limited resources at our disposal to accommodate any new custom change requests. We kindly request your understanding that these new requests cannot be fulfilled in the short term and will require modifications or adaptations once the new template is launched.
In order to facilitate this transition and maintain our commitment to delivering the highest quality standards, we have expanded our front-end development team by welcoming new members and actively pursuing additional talented individuals.
We estimate launching the new event website template in Q1 of 2024. Rest assured, the current event website template will still be available for a few months after launch to give you time and allow for a smooth transition.
